2004 Limited, 2008 Limited 2009 Limited. All still going strong

08 6cyl 4wd +251k.
Still running strong.

I drive the '04. Grown daughters drive the 2008 and 2009. All now between 265k and 305k. All 6 cylinders, All bought new. All have original starters and alternators, none have ever had timing chain replaced or any issues with them. None have had any major engine or transmission work done. Have used Castrol synthetic in all since 2009, may be the reason timing chains have lasted so long. What incredible machines. Just bought a new Lexus for the wife, made sure it was built in Japan.

8007M (2003 SR5 V6 4WD) was at 603,000 back in 2016. No word from him since.

I'm maybe next. I'm at 554,143 on my 2003 SR5 V6 4WD.

I just ordered my window cling from Toyota for 200K miles. They will send you one on request each time you pass another 100K miles. The rep said she recently sent one out to someone that made 1,000,000 miles - on their original engine and drivetrain!

My son's 2003 4runner has a little over 200k miles on it and is due for it's second timing belt replacement. I am going to buy the Aisin TKT-021 kit and would like to get it done by someone who has experience doing it on the 4.7L motor. I've got an 04 with about 240k miles on it. I have only had to replace worn parts. This truck is an awesome truck. God willing, it will never leave my family.

My 2008 V6 SR5 4x4 passed this in November.... Lost the bilateral manifold cats at about 320K. Gonna do the struts and shocks after the holidays (Bonus time ) Need to do a drain and refil on the AT and send the oil sample to Blackstone for analysis....

Last work I did was brakes, calipers, rotors front/rear...

Need to replace Xreas System, leaking finished... Found set of 4 for $375 from Toyota...

Noticed driverside CV axle leaking grease, og axles thinking of just replacing opposed to just the boots...

Just hit 316k the other day. I can't say it has been trouble free but I am amazed at how good it does run. Not bad for a 4 owner truck that started life as a rental car for the first 45k miles of its life.
