97 4runner. 69k on motor 182k on frame. The only thing that's not original is the motor clearly.

A lot of people have bought them used with miles on them so it would be great to see who has PUT the most miles on their T4R.

Bought mine new with 7 km on it.

Should never have an LBJ failure if you're maintaining the truck properly. They're wear items, it's up to the owner to change them before the failure.

Agree with you on LBJ, but no control over Head Gasket failures except for maybe good coolant/oil maintenance. Even then, no guarantees.

I may not have the highest miles on my 4runner but I hope to get a lot of miles with little to no problems! I currently have about 69,000 miles on my 99 4runner limited edition.

I've been changing oil every 5k and coolant as well as all other fluids every 3 years regardless of the mileage since new.

My valve cover gaskets were just starting to leak so I got them done.
I was told the head gasket was okay but only time will tell.
But then I've been a real stickler on the maintenance.

These threads always end up becoming compilations of random mileage figures postings that are more average than anything. "I have 144k!" "I have 202k bro!" "I have 98k." is usually what ends up happening.

I think I just rolled over to 275,xxx, next oil change at 281,xxx. My dad bought this truck brand new from the dealer in 1998 with 10 miles on it, I literally grew up in it and now its my first car!

Done head gasket, new radiator & fan clutch, and timing belt at 282k. Car is running great, no worries of overheating.
