When I bought mine from a Dealer in Akron Ohio this past August. They took a trade in on a 97 4runner with around 776000 miles on it. Original motor and transmission were still in it. I took a couple pictures, let me see if I can find them.

Found the pictures ?

I'm at 243,390 as of right now. But Bob in Texas is right around 750,000 on his '99 with original motor & trans.

These threads always end up becoming compilations of random mileage figures postings that are more average than anything. "I have 144k!" "I have 202k bro!" "I have 98k." is usually what ends up happening.

Great hearing folks on here with their 4Runners running strong over 200k! I just bought my 97 last week at 201K. Was originally planning on keeping it 2-3 years max, but now see I can keep it MUCH longer!

I have 255,xxx with original motor and trans...also it's been supercharged for the last 100,000 miles. I have had to fix a few things here and there, mostly general maintenance, but the way I look at it is that this thing is a worthy investment. It's threads like this that make me remember that. I bought it in 2010 as the 3rd owner from my uncle, with 180,xxx miles on it...4 years later I've put 75,xxx miles on it. If I make it another 5 years at the current rate I'm putting miles on it, I'll be at 330,xxx. My goal is to still have this thing when my son can drive, and pass it on to him, which will be another 14 years
