highest mileage???

My dad bought his 96 when it first came out and it had 242,000 miles on it when he gave it to me and I have since put 1,000 on it after a couple months. We've had no problems with it whatsoever. A kid at my school has a 02 and has 315,000 on his.

I bought my 2001 sr5 back in March, had 253,xxx miles on it. looked at the oil and looked like fresh oil, nothing leaked, drove amazing, so i paid 3500 bucks for it. since then i have put over 7 thousand miles on it and the engine is still strong. I did unfortunately have to put in a new tranny. it had 255,xxx miles on it and was the original. other than that, every thing else is original.

This is my 1996 4Runner that my Father in law gave me when I sold him my 2002 4Runner. I had to get rid of the 2002 because my wife and I were expecting our 2nd child so I bought a Honda Odyssey. The 1996 has 399,835 on original engine and transmission.
