Those of you with 200k + mile are you still taking it on long trips? I only use my 4runner on camp trips and towing sport bikes out to the race track. But I'm starting to be doubtful about taking it on 1000 mile long trips.

Thoughts? I have 160k

depends on how you maintain it. mine is at 387k miles and runs amazing and I keep in tune with it and do a lot of preventative maintenance on it instead of waiting for something to break. Drove it to Cody, Wyoming from denver last month about 500 miles there about 7 hours only stopped for food fuel and potty and drove back at the end of the week. The truck was fully loaded and did awesome like always. My truck has broken down only once and that was because fuel pump failed about six months back. I should have replaced it after 17 years because it was taking longer to fire up but I missed that. So yeah I have complete confidence in my truck. (knock on wood).

I bought my previous 5vzfe Tacoma at 290k with no service history. Did the major maintenance items and drove it all over the country without much worry. I ended up taking an insurance check at 325k when a hail storm rolled through Denver. pretty cool to offroad that rig a thousand miles from home without much worry. My 265k 4Runner doesn't burn any oil or leak any other fluids. Always starts right up. I'd drive it anywhere despite the "high" miles

Highest milage

I have a 2004 4 runner, milage at 286,726.00 two axle seals and steering box replaced and some boots have been the only major repairs.

Totally didn't earn the high mileage club but just bought a 1998 limited with 396,000 miles on it. Only major thing ever changed on it was the steering rack, other than that its all original

change the radiator and lbj's for sure and do a full tuneup and all fluid change and transmission flush if not recently done.

Thanks! On it right now haha, got it down to the cylinder heads. Currently trying to find genuine OEM knock sensors for a good price, gotta get all the preventative maintenance in.

2005 Toyota 4Runner 348,674 miles original everything

I currently own a 2005 Toyota 4Runner sport edition with 348,574 original miles on the car. There was nothing I did to the car and everything is original. All mechanics work, air, heat. Sunroof. Original engine, transmission etc.

Do I have the 4Runner that have the highest mileage. Does anybody know what the world record is for a 4Runner with hi mileage

We have an 01 limited 4x4 for sale with 411k on it. It's stupid clean inside and out. Just has failing paint on the hood and roof. They go forever if you take care of them.
