highest mileage???

Odo reads 258k right now.

Do I win? :D

Seriously though, I just bought it at the end of August, and the previous owner put all the miles on it.

Here's an interesting tid bit; the stock timing belt was replaced at 60k miles, and hasn't been replaced since! That's close to 200k miles on a timing belt! I wonder who swindled the PO into changing it so soon? :bonk:

Update: Now sitting at 291k; forecasting 300k by Jan. 1, 2012.

Still haven't changed the timing belt. :boink:

Clearly if you see someone who has posted a higher number than you there is no need to post your mileage number

Actually I think it is useful to see the posts of people out there. So just because someone posted 300K doesn't mean no one else can post. That is lame and will surely kill the thread -again.

It would also be nice to know if they are all -original- miles, meaning no rebuilds or 2nd engines. Is the tranny still original? .... ect.

Myself I have 205,000 - I know it isn't high enough to top 250 but ohh well suck it up. I am also on my 2nd set of heads but made to 199k without issues. Tranny is all original, no slippage.

Well there is another thread for this already asking the question how many miles do you have on your 4runner. The above information you mentioned to be helpful would be more appropriate in that thread. This thread asked who has the highest mileage. Therefore sir I must light your a$$ on fire...:flamethrwoer2::moon:

So.let's keep this thread going along with the question and see who really has the highest and not another post your mileage thread.

If you haven't topped at least 250k then don't post your's with 115k and so on.

I think there's quite a few over 250k and still going strong.

Highest Mileage

I bought my 2003 Toyota V8 Sport Edition new and currently have 213,000 miles on it without any major issues. Replaced timing belt at 103,000 and will schedule to replace it again next week

Wow, you guys suck. Someone asks a serious question and this is how we treat them?

I'm sorry that you have to deal with this re**** gallery. Hopefully we find someone with the most mileage, on the forum at least. I've seen a few non-forum 4Runners with 600k-800k.

I know downpour11 should be close to 400k now.

I'm calling BS on the 600-800k. I can somewhat believe the 400k. Let's get real with each other here.

Im not exactly sure on my mileage. when I bought it 7 weeks ago, the odometer read 134800 miles, Ive put almost 2000 miles on it, but a few weeks ago I came across some auction pictures of my t4r from summer time showed the odo at 275600 miles. Im guessing im at 278000 (possibly more, I dont know how many miles were done between the odo roll back and me buying)

I know we arent supposed to post unless we are over 250k but im at 205k and just stuck a supercharger on it. My last supercharged runner had 230k on it when i sold it and has 240k on it now. So these motors and trans are tough as nails and for those worried about supercharging their high mileage truck dont worry!

Paul, it sounds to me like you might be the victim of fraud. i think rolling back the odometer or swapping it is a felony in almost every state. you should contact you police department or DA.

That is Fn ridiculous, send the seller to jail.

How did I get that stupid chevy add on mine?

Anyways, I have a 98 V6, no engine or transmission work at 278,000 miles...

Ha, hey look now you don't have an ad....I do. The only annoying this about this site now is the ads at the top and bottom of every page. But I understand sites don't pay for themselves and putting up ads defrays that cost easily.
