Update

A lot has changed since April, so this will be one of my typical mass update posts that I have gotten so much in the habit of doing.

Lots of general maintenance has occurred that I know I am not remember everything but here's a list anyways:
- Transmission pan gasket
- brakes
- fluids
- new rear driveshaft
- Rear diff rebuild x2

Mods (getting to the point where I'm forgetting things here too):
- Swapped in a non-multi mode transfer case
- driveshaft spacer for new length driveshaft
- Fiberglass fenders from McNeil Fiberglass
- Long Travel: MCM Fabrication arms and kit, ADS coilovers with remote reservoirs, and new extended brake lines, tie rod extensions, and limiting straps
- Ripcords electrical panel
- New camping set up with annexed room under my awning.
- Rear Lower adjustable Ebay links. Still have to put the uppers in.


Pan Gasket:

Transfer case swap. Decided to eliminate all the electronics in my 4wd system. Manual hubs are up next. Check out the size different between these two without the center locking diff.

The front driveshaft spacer to accompany the new transfer case.

[MENTION=7992]Ripcord[/MENTION] 's neat cut electrical panel. Have since added a proper breaker switch for the whole system.

Also notable to mention that my rear diff blew up twice in 3 months. Had a bad carrier and a lazy shop create the issue but everything is new now and the rear end is as solid as ever.

Casually up on a 4BT powered SAS 3rd gen on 37s.

Also forgot to mention that I've added some garden trim to the rear wheel wells for some flares. Seems to work now for now but have to sort out some actual mud flaps though.

Here are some pictures of the new camping set up mentioned in the previous post. Realized I never shared pictures.

Its so roomy!!

So for the next month or so heres the plan:

- Manual Hub conversion with the long travel axles
- Spindle gussets
- tab on the limiting straps I have yet to do
- 37s
- new wheels with a bit more offset as the tires currently rub slightly on the new uni-ball set up
- weld steering slip joint
- remove light bars
- new grill
- rock lights
- fog lights
- circular bumper lights
- rear mud flaps
- rear enclosed tube bumper
- mount hi-lift
- rear upper links install.

Its going to be busy

I just read through your thread and awesome build! This things a complete beast. Nice set of mods and great pic's. Definitely makes me want to check out Canada. I wish it was easier to import JDM cars into the US lol. Very inspiring for my build though it'll probably never be as cool as yours is! Keep it up!

Thanks bro! Yea its harder because is 25 years + for import there and only 15 years + in Canada so we get lots of cool imports.

37s are on

Well, a lot of has gone down since the last update.

Heres the short version.
- Took all the lights and other accessories off.
- Color matched fiberglass fenders
- Built new "superduper" low-profile roof platform
- New ProComp Aluminum wheels
-.... and most importantly.... 37s


Only have some parked shots at the moment, but trail shots coming soon.

Practically nothing! Trimmed the front fiberglass and some slight trimming in the rear wheel wells.
