Its photobucket that is messing them up. they are all watermarked and blurred like they sometimes do

yes Photobucket has gone full. If you dont pay they watermark your photos. It used to be free before. I use Imgur now, so much better and easier to work with.

Update and trail story

I hadn't been offroad much since a shop broke 4 studs during tire rotation. Had that replaced and new set of black studs. Had toyota do drain and fill for tranny and receipt was 4 quarts/feels nice at 140k and dropped in KN filter, dash carpet. I have plans to buy safari snorkel and hidden winch setup at some point and in the meantime just added another set of traction boards to quiver, xbul and have been wheeling again. Recently claimed a bypass to get back onto main trail ive been eyeing for awhile. It was muddy with basketball+ sized rocks for a 25' section to a narrow rooted bank back onto old railroad trail. Then the trail was a creekbed after basically w fallen trees a few miles before massive bog hole I wasn't doing solo. Pretty fun and the 4runner surprised me.

From yesterday. The 3' bank on the bypass w wet roots and tree carnage a foot on each side was glad I glad my sliders...

imgur life

decided to get rid of photobucket as i used it spitefully for as long as i could.

going to reupload a few pics in here to make up for lost time and images:

future mods are going to be snorkel and a hidden winch mount with warn vr8
im in a local jeep club and wheel the truck fairly regularly. knock on wood it has got thru everything i have thrown at it and runs with lifted rubicons etc. yeww :guitar3:

heres video of a few deeper spots out there. i was in 4h locked...they were on 33s and 35s 2wd haha. note: there a large stump hidden in the middle bog, the first xj got stuck on his front diff on it last week. might have been the first hole, i saw it expose when they went thru and you can see my cross up a rut going around it.

well i got new napa lifetime maxdrive CVS on each side a month ago, holding up well so far.

ordered smokers kit/Anker bluetooth transmitter setup

smokers kit and anker BT transmitter install

pretty easy install. not mentioned in many places for install is that a plast trim piece is unscrewed and removed from old console insert, screws replaced for smokers instal without trim piece. i kept my DSC disconnected because my dog constantly steps on that button (only engages in 4l and i dont use it) i taped that clip down.

look at the anker bluetooth reviews on amazon if youre looking for a good value OEM setup for playing music, phone calls, etc. its impressive and same make as my phone mount, rock solid ANKER

If you dont kind me asking..

How do you like the Detours Tire Carrier after having it for a while? Does it sit close to the lift gate, easy to hinge and what degree pitch did you get for the tire mount?

I had to retorque the main bolt where it pivots once and have the wobble block tight and it works really well. No movement or sounds if that's done and its been great id say. I fear for the day i need to take the carrier out of receiver on trail but think i can avoid it rigging if needed. The wobble block release on trail might be tough. It sits close to the hatch btw...more than any others I can think of and has an angled plate a bit.
