Hissing sound coming from rear driver side suspension area

I noticed a strange hissing sound coming from the area of my rear driver side suspension last night. I had driven it up a small slope to park it out of a wash. When I turned off the engine and got out, I noticed the sound. At first I thought it was my tire, but they are brand new and after further inspection I determined it was coming from the suspension area. It lasted about 2 minutes without any sign of stopping or slowing down so I started the car again and turned it off after a few minutes at which point the sound stopped. I have KDSS. Any idea what was going on?
