Same thing happened to my buddy in his sas 3rd gen deer went through ripped out highsteer and was crammed between axle and body. Drunk deers walking out into roads n sh!t

na, the bags didnt go off. We didnt experience enough jerk to trigger the sensors. The worst part though was the smell!!! Deer blood and guts in hot radiator is not a good smell.

I know a guy who it a deer on his snowmobile at night a couple months ago at 75mph. He almost didn't make it, and the deer looked much like yours.

Always a bummer though, ive done it a couple times.
That's the reason I bought an ODL front bumper, its a huge piece of metal and the headlight guards seem to give it the best angle to throw that beast under the car and not over it.

My dad hit a deer coming home from the lake one year in his Ram. Hauling the boat at about 55mph, looked over at my mom, then ahead and bam...didn't even have time to react. The deer was obliterated, he had some fur in the grill and the whole front end smashed back to the front of the engine. He drove another 3 miles to a parking lot.
Wish I had taken pics, there was blood everywhere, but no big chunks of deer left, it was crazy. It looked like 20 water ballons filled with blood had been popped!

Holy smokes. If a 3G does that well against deer at THAT mileage....I'm never selling mine. (Not that I have any intention of that. LOL)

Reminds me of the time I hit one going about 70 in my F250. Somehow the thing did a home base slide under my truck and I ended up literally running OVER it at 70mph. It was like launching a house into orbit. Lots of fun though.

I think I might of saw you a month ago on the road beside the mailboxes off the whittaker.

There's lots of 3G runners around, but not many black ones. My Lexus has a huge rear bumper with a tire/jerry can holder on it, I'm pretty noticeable

Glad you're ok. Here in northern AB they are a lot bigger. I'd hate to see how my 3rd gen would fair against one of them. Maybe I'll feel safer with a big steel plate bumper up front.

I'm glad that you and your buddy were not hurt... sadly thats bigger than anything i got in the woods this past season.. and i used proper ammo!:hunter:
