Hit a large animal in our garage queen 99 T4R 5sp w/locker and low miles: (full coverage pay's off)
Insurance is flipping the bill, decided to go for an off-road build instead of cashing out of the truck....daughter is now driving the truck and getting tons of thumbs up from local wheelers :-/

The Build:
- Outdoor Logic Front bumper
- Outdoor Logic Sliders
- Toytec Coilovers / OME medium springs w/bill's shocks
- CBI Off-Road Rear 3rd gen T4R rear bumper
- Kuat Vagabond Rack on the roof

Possible changes in the near future:
- Black wheels of some kind
- RTT on the roof (might not want to put a bed on it while daughter is driving it:-)
- Heavy OME springs in the rear, dial in front coil's to match

That bumper looks a bit more animal proof. :) Check out Method Race Wheels for black wheels....they make some nice stuff, I just got these for mine:

Nice, glad to see you kept it. What's the story with the pick up?

I like those wheels posted, checkin into them.

No story, its an original 81...I have quite a few 80's trucks:

This one has a very long story, put over 250 much deserved highway miles on him over the weekend (been setting around for a while)
Cruiser control @ 80mph :-)

that is one sweet early Toyota (both the tan and the red one)... I would love to hear the story behind it if you want to share it... Looks like a beast!

Love the white 4Runners... yours looks really nice - I need to find some '99+ headlights...

My last car was totaled last month because I hit a deer. That is how I came to this site and ended up with my first new (old) runner. I was going to get a grille guard but after researching here I decided not to get one since the majority says that they cause more damage. I have been eyeing the ARBs. They are so expensive though...Your runner looks badass now...I'm jealous:dammit:

What kind of animal did you hit?

SICK build! Incredible work put into all this, how do you find the time and money to do all of it? Thanks a lot for sharing the story behind it, I thoroughly enjoyed learning more about it... That would be a dream truck to own, for sure.

Thanks Farmerjon...fun truck for sure, I miss the camper that was in the back. was an awesome man cave. sold it to buy a larger camper for our ford F350, mistake,,,,,we never have time to camp.

It now sits with an RTT in the back.....don't think I will use it though. Debating on selling this rig in the near future.
