a streetbike id drive like a granny but it states the weight is good for it... i have a similar one for my dirtbike works great never a second thought after i was ran off the road with it on and didnt move.
your hitch is fine you have the frame mounted support hitch on the v8 not the BS one the v6 has your good to go.

Hummmm, my Honda Rubicon weighs just over 600 lbs...with some rear airbags it might just handle it...could you imagine a fourwheeler on one of these! I wouldn't really do it, but now that I don't have a truck anymore I've been trying to figure out how to haul my wheeler and duck boat at the same time...maybe a custom hitch platform is the ticket!! LOL. Seriously though your 4runner should handle it fine. I would be more worried about the rear suspension than the hitch.
 
As proz07 said, make sure its the frame mounted hitch and not the base hitch which is only x-member mounted and only good for 500lbs tongue weight. You may want to think airbags as well if you don't have the factory rear airbags. 600lbs may not sound like much but when you hang it 2 feet off the back it behaves like a lever which would have the effect of 1000lbs or more on the rear axle and reducing weight off the front. (think poor steering control and headlight angles etc)
