well a while ago i asked some questions and got some helpful answers
and im back
w/ some more Noobie questions
my 93 3.0 manual runner just hit 190k this weekend (190,007 atm i think)
and guess what! i got paid today
so i have enough money for the lift and tires i want, buttt i dont wanna put it on a 3.0L let alone one w/ 190k and can croak at any minute...so the question
should i swap in a 3.4L? SHould i rebuild? how much would it cost to get a 3.4L put in? where could i find a 3.4L (i looked around and have only found like 1) and is it worth it or should i just slap some paint on the oxidized hood and sell that baby and find something better? im on a tight budget i have some of my own ideas on the subject but i think if i got some advice from some more experienced ppl i would have a better idea of the direction to go!

i had a similar question...but was lookin at puttin a V8 in my 94...and all the responses i got said that unless i can do almost all the work myself...and happen to either have an engine lyin around or find one dirt cheap...it is WAY too expensive...i would say put the lift and tires on it...but be ready to take it into the shop...just incase...u dont wanna do all the work and not have enough money to repair somethin...maybe do the lift first...then the tires later...i havent had my 94 in the shop since i did a shitload of elective work on it in may...and i have over 190K on it...(cant remember exactly what the number is)...hopefully this helps...
