This has been a long time coming!!
I have been back and forth with what I wanted, and what I would be able to afford... My budget keeps getting whacked down.
I have had great luck with this 4R. It is a 1996 247k miles. I don't drive too much interstate but I have kept track of my fuel consumption for the last few weeks worst is 19mpg best is 22.3mpg. So far no complaints for a 4200 dollar rig with a straight body and pretty clean interior. I plan on keeping this ride for a very long time, its my second favorite rig that I have owned. First being a 1988 GMC Jimmy 2dr 4x4, the fullsize kind

Short Range Goals: Good serious detail!!! Repair minor dents in bumpers and plasti dip bumpers/grill
Long Range Goals: ???
Ill get some pics up when it gets back from the shop getting aligned and a few things I wasn't able to get to.
LESSONS LEARNED
1. Red poly bushings are pointless! I did my steering rack, and by the time I added grease and was under there working on it, black would have been better.
2. If you are doing a diff drop, before you do the diff drop, take the driver side horizontal bolt out of the steering rack and flip it around. If you don't and you ever have to change the rack you will have to take the diff drop out to remove that bolt.
3. If you are doing LBJs and Suspension at the same time, put the strut on the LCA before LCA-LBJ.
MORE TO FOLLOW!
