Just saying hi, as I used this site as a tool towards my hunt for the perfect 3G 4Runner for myself. I ended up settling with a 1997 Limited @ 120,000mi that was totally loaded to the gills with options and cared for by a retiring doctor. I hardly had been looking for such luxury in the vehicle that I planned to use adventuring, but along with the other goodies it had, it also had met all of my preferences (well maintained, 4WD, V6, decent mileage for the age) and after a couple days I purchased it. Haven't done anything yet except for install a Jensen VM9021TS in dash DVD/TV/iPod/XM tuner, along with 1200 watts of Profile California 600MSX and 2 12'' Polk subs. Took her out on a trail to a parcel of land I own yesterday and had a blast. Hardly had to use 4WD on the trail and 2WD got me through many more spots that I had imagined it would. Sorry no pictures from the trip.
As you can see, the screen has no anti-glare. Not sure if it is because it is a touch screen or they didn't want to include it, but it combats this by being able to angle the screen to any point until it is completley horizontal as if it was loading a disc. With this function I don't really have any complaints and haven't had any problems.
