LOL look at this runner's pricing!!

Its NOT a limited! NOT a sports edition! WAS in a accident!
HAS a gross bull bar/brush gaurd! NO elocker! (i emailed the guy there is NO elocker) HAS running boards!
And 2 top it all off it has the 4Runner logo on the passenger airbag so it a accident the passenger will get cut up pretty bad.
AND is not a rare colour

But it does have 113500km's (70525miles)!

I just saw one like this down here. Very limited info, except it was a one owner 99 limited with 77k miles. Wanted $17,500 for it. Low miles are awesome and pretty rare but my goodness!

I will never understand the appeal that some people find in sticking exterior emblems on their interior. Ugly. Do they really need to remind the passenger what they are riding in?

I wouldn't call the brush guard a deal breaker and the accident may have been repaired properly. Oh, and good luck finding many without running boards. Why would I pay more to not have them? These are removable parts.

nice large piece of plastic will be launched in the cabin next time the passenger bag goes off!!!

Either the owner cares enough to replace the radiator, upper and probably lower radiator hoses, it seems the front end collision was a bit destructive to the engine bay. I would look at the front crash plate to see if its bent. Not that anyone is going to go buy it. But almost $13,000 for a 15 year old vehicle that has been in an accident.

My first question to him would be how much meth he smokes a week. And if it told him to put the emblem on his passenger's airbag.

Or the thought process behind the black leather seats.

Haha! Seriously... I've never seen any other interior color than the factory tan or grey. I think the black could be appealing in a grey interior 4Runner. But tan?!

Hmmmm, I've always wondered what the fastest way to get "4runner" tattooed on my face would be. Ahhhh, that will work!

You're all going to argue with me about this and say I'm crazy….BUT in Cali, that 4Runner would probably bring around $11 with that type of mileage….Well…stock(that leather combo is ridiculous)…3rd gens in a 5-speed with low miles…..bend over cause were talking no spit kind of raping. At auction they bring STUPID $$ and they bring STUPID on the retail side as well. Kind of the nature of the beast finding a low mileage 5-speed in cali though. ESPECIALLY if its a Highlander. And yes I know there are a ton to be found on CL, I'm just giving you my experience with them here in Cali. Personally, I think its CRAZY; but hey, people buy them. lol.

You know if the black leather had tan inserts and he had done the door panels, had black all weathers, it might not look too bad imo (atleast the steering wheel and console are black). But there are too many competing colors and those emblems...ekk.

And why, why, whyyy do that to a 4runner?? If you want an SUV with giant rims and candy paint get yourself a Tahoe or a H2 or something. On second thought, don't get a H2. Ever. Slammed/donk 4Rs have never looked good. But at least it's a 4wd, so when bad weather hits you can navigate the storm with all that tire tread he's got. SMH

I purchased a 97 with 205K miles on it, just a few onths ago. It could be that same vehicle with a different bumper on the front (ARB). It is the same color, but the interior is still the original color matching tan seats and in good condition. Mine came with a low mileage set of Michelin tires and a new radiator put into it. The vehicle had hit a deer in the past, but is all one piece and clean. I paid $5200 for it.

So how hard is it to just swap in a gauge cluster w/ odo from the same model from a junkyard w/ low miles and not change it to match the correct miles on your vehicle?

skepticism....
