Do you guys with SCs run higher octane fuel?

100% yes. these engines where not designed for superchargers. The computer was never designed for forced induction. If you bought a brand new car that is forced fed from the factory, the factory will program the computer to back off timing if the engine pings because they do not want to replace the motor because a cheap customer used bad gas.

Very nice... good acceleration, love the whine.... if i ever have the money to get one or if i find a 3rd gen with one already, i will definitely be getting it
