Hood Not Sitting Flush (Sits High)

Hey all,

I tried to ignore this, then sort it out on my own, but it's either getting worse or I just can't stop noticing it. Either way, I'm looking to see if anyone has encountered the same because it's time to fix it:

My hood sits high. I've cranked the adjustable rubber stoppers/grommets all the way in to allow the hood to sit as low as possible and it doesn't help. I've loosened the hood latch mechanism on the body to move it down, but it's already as far down as it goes. All I can think of at this point is taking out the mechanism, drilling new/enlarging current holes, and re-mounting it lower.

It's about 1/8 - 1/4 inch I believe that the hood sits above the fenders, I can snap some photos later. This happened around the time I did my body lift. Keyword "around the time", because I didn't notice it right away but that was honestly the last thing I'd done to the rig when I did finally notice the hood.

Any ideas/suggestions/similar experiences anyone?

Can't stand constantly looking down my hood to see things are no longer flush.

Same. Adjusted rubber stoppers to fix though

I wish it was this simple for me. I cranked those suckers all the way into the hood and all it did was allow the hood to not sit tight and shake (while still not sitting flush). I'll give them another shot this evening, as it's been about a month since I tried last time. Maybe the rubber got sprinkled by magic? (a guy can hope right?)
