Scoop creates more drag - makes the stock SR5 faster and get better mileage.

source? galileo, newton, lord rayleigh, your high school physics teacher, etc...
A rack, LED bar, tent, container, lift, all affect much more the drag than the little tiny scoop. I would like to see wind tunel air flow lines above the hood to confirm what I believe. I suspect that the air deflected by the front bumper goes up and reach the top of the windshield and the scoop resides in an area where there is not such flow like a dead spot. In this case, its presence or not would not impact the drag coefficient.
watch your hood in a rainstorm, wind hits your hood
this is all a silly argument, of course the impact is tiny, but he wasn't wrong so your "source, numbers" response was silly
lol...no way, stand against fake vents!
just get out...LOLScoop creates more drag - makes the stock SR5 faster and get better mileage.
Patience... and read ALL the build threads. I put the trucks needs before wants... it's 4 years old and I'm finally getting around to the wants. Get it out and figure out what you need. You'll get there... and you'll love it even more.
