Has anyone done this? (The search function only searches on single words). I'd like to get rid of the prop rod.

Just a tip. Search "hood strut" 3rd gen and you'll get some results. The quotes make it search for that combination of words instead of just the single words. Works on other search engines too.

Yep, it would have worked here, too, if there had been any content to find. Mine was the first thread with that phrase. I would have found something if I'd just searched the web itself.

For the DIY folks, this looks like a good starting point at half the price, add brackets and yer done. Measurements seem about right.
