yea, LOL long story, my old hood was fine, I bought a house, got laid off... bla bla bla. So my mechanic was taking it for a test drive & didnt lock the hood. A gust of wind got underneath while going uphill & bam! It got bend back. He called me up thinking I was going to freak out on him & I was like Good!
You buy me a new hood, I'll buy the scoop insert & you paint it & we're good! He was shocked that I was happy about him screwing up my hood! So I got a brand new Sport Hood for $150. I love it.
Plus it added another 30hp.:bravo:

I put it on in 2012, but the rebuilt motor wasn't running right yet. I've been back on the road since March.

30 hp? That's nothing. I had a fake plastic hood scoop that I put on my hood years ago, and it added 60 hp.
