hi i'm new. i have a 98 limited and my basketball goal fell over on to the hood of my truck so i need a new one. i was wondering if the 2002 hood would fit? i've found a used one with a good price. thanks

im pretty sure it will but theres no difference between that one and yours(except a large dent). If you have to get a new hood, i would suggest a 1998 hood with an air scoop in it.

If you gotta replace the hood and want a little factory *bling* then get any sport hood available from '99-'02 and any will fit your '98.

Yup. Sport Editions were the only ones that came w/ the scoop. Many like myself have taken these same hoods and put them on limiteds or in my case, an SR5.

I mean *bling* since it's only function is for appearance enhancment only but it does make a Runner stand out a bit especially if it's a Limited model.

If you want really cheap OE hoods, go to www.crosscanadaparts.com
from the dealer, the hood is roughtly $800 CDN, from the website, i can get it for roughlyh $200 CDN. I live in Vancouver BC, so it's really convenient for me. Shipping may be an issue depending on where you live though.
