Wow. Today in this thread there are 46 pages and almost 700 posts about Covid-19, death, conspiracy, voter fraud, jobs lost, wrecked economy, government incompetence, etc, etc.

A number of posters have a lot of complaints and anger about how the pandemic is being handled in this country and around the world by authorities and institutions. These complaints are thrown out there in dribs and drabs, incomplete sentences, angry utterances, and confusing ramblings.

So here’s a proposal. Since the malcontents are not satisfied with how it’s being handled now, how about they all clearly describe how they would solve this pandemic problem. Tell us your plan. Seriously. Spare us no details. I imagine some of you won’t take this seriously and continue to joke about it. But that’s OK, you’re amusing and do provide entertainment.

But let’s hear your solution. Are you a genius or a joker?

Plus, we can’t even believe the #s coming from the US. They’re just made up at this point.

You should reference my previous posts about China and you'll get the answer to your question.

But for the sake of this post, I take the #s with a grain of salt and use it for limited comparison to other countries and methods of containment.

That said, numbers are about to go through the roof. Medical facilities are finally getting test kits at the rate of 1,000 kits a week starting this week. I'm sure folks can find that on Google but that was covered in an internal Kaiser briefing today for Colorado.

Sticking to my plan. Sacrifice 8 out of ten people to the volcano gods IOT slow the spread. Look i'm an expert in using volcanos to stop the china virus now.

Between the conspiracy theory and fear mongering propaganda is the truth. Funny thing is, few will pay attention to it. Would be nice to have trusted journalism IOT keep the masses informed and keep the powers that be accountable.

People, this is NOT a red v blue thing. I'm so tired of that arguement. It's ALL OF THEM. Let's go over some things:

2008, banks F-up in housing. Market crashes. Pensions vanish. $900,000,000 taxpayer bailout. Nice.

2020, covid shows up. Market crashes. Pensions vanish. $2,000,000,000 phase one bailout.
$500,000,000 to "corporations"
$600,000,000 to the citizens... Who will spend the money on Amazon, or Walmart or with a bank to pay mortgage... So the big guys get the money AGAIN, this time 2 different ways!

And people want to bicker whether it's a D vs R? The color of one's f*cking tie is meaningless. They're all paid for. That being said, you can't pay taxes if you're dead so it behooves the "leaders" to save lives and therefore save their own checkbooks.

Compounded by that fact that if you have diabetes and/or hypertension with this, its a virtual death sentence.

People thinking that they are saving lives by social distancing are a bunch of hypocrites in general. If people really wanted to make an impact on saving lives, there would be bans on alcoholic drinks, cigarettes, and junk food. Its already proven that those items kill way more people than the coronavirus ever will. But I dont see anyone doing that.
