I'm certain that was a joke about "how things are handled by the Wild West Rules of middle-of-nowhere Montana". Kinda like saying Texans can shoot anyone and get away with it - the defense is simply "He needed killin'".

But who knows. People are starting to get weird the longer they're cooped up...

Now we going see a knee jerk reaction by our Gov.

Went from hovering around 10 to 29 Sat and 24 Sunday. Wonder what today will bring.

I equated that travel like I do the plane load of physicians headed to NYC - they all think they're healthy at the moment they embark on their travels but they have to come into contact with so many surfaces, food, drinks, etc... on their journey. They are all going to provide care where it's needed and in the case involving elder relatives, without further straining the medical system.

Yup, I can test negative every day for a month then I touch, breathe in, or otherwise come in contact with the virus and all those negative results are moot.
 
I was sick last week with an intestinal bug. Stayed inside Tuesday through Saturday. Did a little driving yesterday with my wife and youngest son just to get out of the house, and it was nice to see a lot of people out walking around, walking dogs, etc. People waving, smiling, being courteous. We live next to a small lake, which has its own calming effect. I know that for me, the pace of life has slowed a bit. it seemed everyone was calmer. Maybe there will be some benefits to come from this after all. Hope they last a while.

Except that the planeload of docs are going to be tested or quarantined on arrival.

This "I feel fine, so I'm healthy" is what is going to get us into real trouble.

-Russian liquor store... dude dressed up with a face shield and mask "What do you want" when I enter
Me: "I want to leave. Bye."

-Call to paint store Rt17 so I can get a gallon of 2 week old paint shaken:

Me: "I'd like to have my paint can reshaken. I bought it 2 weeks ago"
Excited Store employee: "We dont let anyone into the store" Ill have to spray it off with Lysol. It will be wet"
Me: "wtf?"
Excited Store employee: "^$&&B @$% (*&%$#$)) ^%%#@!*&&"
Me: "ok thanks"
Ridgewood Paint Store: "ok no problem bring it in We close at 3pm"
Me: "Thank you. You have all of my paint business from now on"

I don't know, but I think so. A saw a lot of folks saying they were going to the Easter jeep safari anyway. And I've seen recent pics from sand hallow that are totally packed. If Moab went on the news to ask people not to come im guessing they're getting a lot of visits. They closed all the national parks to hopefully help stop it. But I am 3 hours away so I don't know the current situation.
 
All patients recovered or are improving, and three patients tolerated treatment with the investigational antiviral remdesivir.

Gilead's new coronavirus drug will be FDA approved in April.

GILD has 95% of the HIV market and cured HCV with epclusa and sovaldi. GILD sells $22 $billion of drugs every year.

They are an antiviral company. Go to seeking alpha and google for articles. :hungry:
