I have noticed one thing that my friends on the left and on the right (yes, I am actually friends with people on both sides of the aisle) agree on is that we have got to end our relationship with China.
There is a study to see if CA could be benefitting from herd immunity due to contracting the virus well before we started testing and tracking it in the states. Lots of cases probably came and went that were attributed to seasonal influenza. CA had an average of 8,000 Chinese nationals coming into the state every day in Fall 2019. We’ll know more when they publish the results.

Also, NYC’s population density surely plays a role. Not only is it the highest in the country at 56,000 people per square mile, it’s more than twice that of LA (24k), and more than 3x that of SF (17k).

We know that social distancing works and we've all seen the charts showing how one person can effectively infect thousands of others.
We have evidence from Italy, South Korea and Pakistan how the lack of social distancing can cause a catastrophe.
What we don't know is how many lives are saved by social distancing and there will always be those who will say "Sheeet, see, it wasn't that bad"
Much of the industry that supports our national security will come back to the US.

Some folks don't have any understanding of proactive measures (planning ahead). They only understand the results after the fact then will want to react once they verify, "Oh crap, it's actually pretty serious". Essentially when it's too late. Most don't have a plan and can't see beyond what's immediately in their faces. Inability to gauge probability and risk. To hear that an entire family of 10 or more got infected with two deaths because they had dinner together is unfortunate. But maybe we don't feel sorry for them as they should have known better and made better choices. Those are exactly the type of choices you don't make when it is contrary to what medical professionals have been repeating since Feb. Nobody forced them to have a family dinner. They thought it wasn't that serious only to lose 20% of their immediate family. Cause and effect. Not too difficult to understand.
To hear some hospitals are underwhelmed and that the death numbers aren't bad, that says the measures in place are working. Our friends & family in medical care are finding it a relief to be sent home and not be exposed. There is a cause and effect correlation for each path/choice and, for the most part, the path most of our country has chosen is somewhat working given our culture and limited ability to stomach mandatory orders. Could there be worst or better outcomes? Probably.
Complaints about the economy... Again, let's go back to planning. If one didn't get caught with their pants down, there has been great opportunity over the past 2-3 weeks because some were sitting on the sidelines waiting for it. A correction was likely to occur in the markets anyway. The pandemic accelerated that event and put everything on sale at 50% or more. There's a silver lining in everything including current events. Yes, lots of people are out of work and with proper planning (and choices), this pandemic is no big deal. But we know how that goes.

I have no idea what you are trying to say, but I do know that if you're going to say that somebody is stupid, then you would spell "you're", "too" and "can't" correctly.
There is a difference between a typo (and I usually have lot's of those) but "your" and "you're" is not a typo - and "too" and "to" is probably not a typo either.

The issue here is that those claiming vote fraud is insignificant are either not seeing the mounting evidence or are lying.
In CA it’s legal now to harvest votes, which is how in the last election several House seats in OC flipped from R to D at the last minute. Vote harvesting is a really good way to scale up fraud.
Not only there but in several other D heavy counties such as Broward in FL, magically thousands of ballots are found at the last second with a magical 90% margin in favor of D’s.
There’s also video evidence from last elections of D’s busting people around to vote in different voting sites.
The evidence is all around if you don’t cherry pick news sources.

WHO, CDC, IHME, Gates Foundation, many politicians, "subject matter experts" and "news" people pushing for totalitarian lockdowns that are destroying economy have interesting connections.
And now certain politicians and the "news" are ramping up calls for vote-by-mail.
Cant believe how many government sheep are in this forum. If you want to be controlled by government by being told you cant leave your house, what food you will eat, then move to China!!! Flat out, social distancing does NOTHING if you first allow a virus to spread!. NY, CA, IL didn't close down shop when they heard about this in January. They allowed this to spread and then attacked the economy in mid March. The Chicago mayor has been complaining about how many thousands of people are out in parks playing soccer, walking, running and not social distancing and yet hospital admissions are down???
If this wasn't an election year, people over 65 and those we with known health issues like cystic fibrosis for an example we be told they should isolate themselves.
Who is dying from this virus???? Mainly people who would be dead in anywhere from a few months to a few years anyways. Aside from obvious elderly population, people with diabetes and hypertension along with smokers and vapors. I for one do NOT have a high metabolism with a heart disease and diabetes in my family. So I run, lift weights, and eat moderately healthy. The virus is just accelerating the process and thinning the herd. And given that the US has one of the most obese populations in the world, its a big herd.
Unfortunately there is no guarantee to a healthy life. I am in the medical field. Before all this, I have seen teens and young adults contract a virus that attacks their heart. Then a very active healthy person is now on a transplant list.
The saddest part of all this is that no one see the effect this is having on kids. Social isolation is not in anyway good for them. Im have tempted to enroll my kids in a day care center now so they can socialize. Still puzzles on why schools are still closed by day cares center are open. Kids, missing out on milestones such a birthdays, proms, graduations. For what?? My family still gets together. My daughter turned 4, we had a party with just grandparent, aunts uncles and cousins. No one got sick or died after. But we are all healthy. No diabetes, high blood pressure, smoking, etc. And 4 people out of 10 adults in my family including myself work in hospitals.
What the government sheep fail to see the big picture. This virus isn't going away. It will still be around in May for Memorial Day, and it will still be around in July for the 4th and it will still be around in Dec for x-mas. Then what?? If you all haven't seen, life is too short to be glued to your couch. Put down the chips and pop and enjoy life being active and health. Not glued to a 4runner forum on your tablet watching Oprah on TV.
