Thanks for the link, it’s a interesting piece of history. I had to laugh at the description of the Ditto machine. When I was a young pup that’s the way copies of handouts were made for the classroom. The chemical stench of the printed pages was unmistakeable. Some hated it, some loved it and tried to get high from sniffing their assignments.
Weren't they called mimeograph machines? And, yes, that unmistakable odor was had with a love or hate relationship that I can still remember to this day.

The mimeograph printing process used an ink-filled cylinder and ink pad. ... In contrast, the ditto machine used no ink. The user typed, wrote, or drew on a ditto master sheet which was backed by a second sheet of paper coated with a dye-impregnated, waxy substance.
So We went to Wally World, I had to pick up a Prescription. The geniuses there make you GO into the store by the market part, NOW instead of walking in & turning left to prescription counter I had to get in line, WALK the complete length of the store passing people leaving to get to the prescription counter & walk all the way pass more people vs just in & out!?! WTF now I just got exposed to how many unessersary people??I'm not afraid of this crap but I do believe in hand sanitizer, I have a mask don't think it's really necessary, but I'm playing along.

I would not be surprised to see the well connected get first dibs on a vaccine if it existed. The press corp, with this administration maybe not so much. But it was a Fox reporter so maybe... :laugh:
I initially tagged you thinking you would have a general idea who might have had access to the room, why they would say such things, and how they would know / have access to such info. But I guess that mystery has been solved.

I believe there are multiple vaccine candidates that have entered human trials. I would assume that would mean there are people out there being given these experimental potential vaccines.
I think the biggest hindrance to the public getting a vaccine will be the mandated testing period, not the time it takes to develop one.

There are a couple of permanent camera installs in the briefing room, but I don't think the microphones are set up to blanket the room.
The problem, with both politicians and media, is that they often forget that a joke can be easily taken out of context and that ANY public place (in this context that includes the briefing room) can be monitored and what is monitored can well show up on the internet.

Yeah, I remember when Pres Reagan was joking around during a sound check for a national broadcast and said he just outlawed Russia and bombing would begin in five minutes. It wasn’t broadcast live but it was embarrassing and he caught some political ribbing for it later.
NYC doctors have changed their treatment protocol since they have noticed patients blood thickening with an increase in clotting prior to patients even needing intubation.
These are the results of a Google search for 'corona virus blood thickening'
This is why it may be difficult to identify the cause of death beyond cerebral anoxia (brain death due to lack of oxygen).
For example, if a patient (for the case of this question let's say this hypothetical patient had no underlying conditions) died from a stroke caused by clotting due to blood thickening from the corona virus, what would the cause of death really be?
cerebral anoxia?
stroke?
COVID-19?
other?
Would the cause of death change if the hypothetical patient had underlying conditions?
