Houston get together

Hey folks, I wanted to see about organizing a Houston get together. I thought maybe we could hit up a beach close by in either Matagorda or San Luis pass area or maybe even no mans land.

I am willing to buy burgers and beer... But you don't want me to cook the burgers.

I'm in but, it depends what weekend it is.

Family and work get in the way so, I can't guarantee I would go.

I have a friend with an FJ that would be interested also.

There was a thread a while back about a group doing a run to High Island.
Have not seen any updates.

Lets see who else chimes in.

Id be down for something. Not sure about a beach trip, but going to get some burgers somewhere around town would be fun as long as its on a weekend or in the evening. Ive met up with some of the Tacoma World guys before and we had a good time.

Central Texas Off Roaders on Facebook (Toyota FJ guys) are putting together a S Padre beach trip April 19th.

Guys I'm sorry, I have had a busy few weeks and forgot about this. You guys wanna camp or just meet up or what. I'm busy the next few weekends but what I would like to do is camp fridayight, wheel/fish sat, and call it a day. I can suggest April 18 and 19 or 25 and 26. That work for anyone?

Ok. 25th and 26th wins out for me at San Luis Pass or Matagorda. I'm going to go down Friday night, do a little fire and hanging out. Wake up sat and do some wheeling and fishing. Might stay another night, might not depending.

I say we meet up on the sea wall somewhere, get some food and drinks then drive to SLP down by the bridge and set up shop.

When you say no man's land. Are you referring to the beach from Bolivar to McFadden? I did that once in my disco and wow. That's some intense terrain. I am ready to make that again.
