I live in downtown. Install was a breeze however camber bolts are seized. Looks like some lower control arm removal in my future. Have to swap out a cv axle anyways. Anywhere local to play with this truck now?

Well, let's see. On the extreme northeast side of town there is Down South Off Road:

I thought I'd chime in, put a stake in the ground, and see if we can get at least 2 or 3 folks out for a 1st meet up of Runners. I propose Friday, August 8th, 7:00pm. EXACTLY where will depend on who all is in what part of town, but FYI, I'm NW... Barker Cypress & 290... but I work in The Woodlands. Having said this, I'm game to meet anywhere in the area.

No, you guys decide. I have no problem driving to wherever you all want to meet up. [MENTION=107716]jpclark[/MENTION] is putting this together, so he should decide. BTW, [MENTION=107153]fullboogie[/MENTION] and [MENTION=44862]macoyle[/MENTION] (and a couple of other members) are down here in the Pearland/Friendswood/League City/Clear Lake area as well.

I'm more familiar w/ the NW side, rather than the south side. Ideally, it would be great to have a place w/ outside seating AND a parking area we can get all the rigs together. IE: Willie's on 249 & Cypresswood has a deck AND lets wheeling clubs park on the grass (we do this in another group I'm in) BUT... I'm sure that is to far for the Clear Lake folks to drive.

A central location would be Lupe Tortilla on Shepard, just south of I-10... that would be an even drive for everyone... BUT... parking will be dispersed.

For the folks on the SW side... do yall know of a place like this? OR... if the SW folks are agreeable, we can meet NW this time, and SW next time.

Oh... 1 other thing... I've been a little frustrated with how desparate we 4Runner folks are... between so many forums... and I love to wheel... SO... this morning I put up a FB group for 4runners in Texas. I want to use it as a clearing house for events where 4Runners will be across the state. OK! I think we're making progress. So, I just created an event in https://www.facebook.com/groups/Texas4Runners/ for the meet-and-greet. For this first one, we're locked in on Friday, August 8th, at Willie's Grill & Icehouse... corner of 249 and Cypresswood. I'll arrive 5:30 or 6:00, but we're calling it a 7:00pm start since some may be driving a ways. Also, since some may be driving from the SE area, I want to ask those folks to scout for some good locations down that way, so the next one will be on that side of town... gotta be fair! If you can - or think you can - attend, please join in and note it on the event!
