How are everybody's Plasti-dipped pieces holding up?

Mine is doing alright (Lower plastic valance). However, I would use a semi-gloss clear coat, in order to make cleaning a little less difficult. I rubbed mine in a tight spot to get some dirt off, and it peeled there.....so you got to be gentle when cleaning it. Other than that, I drive the highways regularly with it, with bugs and such constantly getting smushed on the front, and no issues....haven't taken it off-road since the early winter, so can't tell you how it does with tree branches and such.......

I considered doing the flares and all the gray pieces and grill... Sort of a trail edition look. Anyway, I did my 2 Toyota logos, No clear coat, looks the same as day 1.

Don't waste your time with plasti-dipping the fender flares. Save yourself the time and headaches by sending the flares to me

My flares were first coated with 2 coats of plastidip only. I went offroad and they were stained with mud/dirt and I couldn't get them clean no matter what I tried.
I then peeled them all and did 5 coats and 2 clear coats.
Cleaning actually works now, which is nice. They're not very durable. I've scraped up the flare under the back door. Passengers usually scrape it, or boxes and what have you... so it's peeling in a few spots.
Also, the last thing one part underneath a flare literally melted clean off. I stopped it before it made it to the sides of the flares, but I might have to redo that one. Here's some pics.
If you're a light driver and don't hit the trail often, I'd say go for it. My whole front valance looked great until it scraped the ground during a stream crossing. I can't expect it to make it through that, though.

It is holding up on most of what I painted but I can see how it is not a long term solution. I had to redo the grille (my fault) and the rear license plate area. I was thinking of repainting everything with the rust-oleum bed liner paint.
