How are KM2's in the Snow

As another data point, I've run KM2s from new in the snow on my 1st gen. The only time I would rather have them on the truck instead of my Michelin street tires is off-road. On the road as others have stated they are downright dangerous. Worst thing I've found is the cornering ability. It doesn't exist. You nearly have to come to a stop before making a turn. The more packed the snow the worse they are. I had to air down to about 15psi to get out of a friends neighborhood whereas I wouldn't have had an issue with my street tires. I'm sure siping the tires would be beneficial.

I'm on my third winter with siped KM2s, and I've had no issues with them in packed or fresh snow. I've slid a little bit on ice twice while making 90 degrees turns, and I was easily able to correct. I was also easily able to pull a Jetta out of a ditch on a snow packed road and I had no sliding whatsoever, they dug right in. I never air them down either (35PSI), but I'm sure they'd be even better if I did.
