How do I add Voice tags to my contacts on 08 Limited?

I have an 08 limited that I've transferred contacts to from my htc evo. Bluetooth works great. When I try to dial by name though it says that no voicetags exist and to please "register" a voicetag to use this feature. I can't seem to find where or how to do this? Can one of you guys point me in the right direction?

Do you have the Navigation Manual for the 08 4Runner? That's where the answer is. It's a book like the Owners Manual, but it's specific to all of the navi features. At that site, find the 2008 4Runner Navigation: Other Function section. What you're looking for is how to add a "Voice Tag" (page 37 of the PDF file). How to dial by name (voice tag) is on page 20.

I looked http://www.toyota.com/t3Portal/document/omnav/OM35895U/pdf/08omsour/2008/ileaf/044runna/other.pdf here on page 151 and it starts off the instructions on a menu that I don't know how to get to...

Looks to me like it would be: Info button on radio > Telephone > Settings > Phone Book > Edit > (pick a name from the list). That should get you to the Edit Contact Data screen. Then scroll to page 2 (down arrow, lower left corner) to get to the Voice Recognition setting for that contact.

I figured it out. When you go to the phonebook screen and choose the contact it displays a few pieces of information there but nothing about voicetags. I didn't think to hit the down arrow to see the ONE morechoice it had which was.... Voice tags. DOH!
