how do i get more hp?

hey. woundering if a cold air intake is worth putting on. will i get a noticable hp gain? and what else can i do thats quick and easy to boost hp?

What year truck?
Engine?
Auto or manual?
2wd or 4wd?

In my opinion, a cold air intake will marginally increase hp, not enough for you to notice i'm afraid.

To really increase it enough to feel, you will need a supercharger or turbo, or a "built" engine.

Ther is no quick and easy way to boost HP. If there was, the car makers would already have done it.

um its a 5speed manual...ita 4wd. and its got a 3.0v6

I didn't notice much when I added the cold air intake from K & N. however.... removing my catalytic converter, and adding a test pipe, along with the LC engineering cat back did help a bit.

Not that I am aware of. There are lots of "chips" advertised for Toyotas on Ebay, but I have never heard of a single one of them working.
