How do you replace the bulb in the digital display information panel?

The right side of my display went out which lights up the clock area. Is this easy to replace? If anyone knows the steps and what type of bulb to get I would appreciate the info rather than paying the dealer (unless its too involved!).

I have the same problem, but just on the left hand side.

From reading on this forum, I understand that you'd have to remove the center console / dash unit and replace bulbs...

But maybe someone has a great write up on this...

^^^ Yes! That's another one I used - couldn't find it a little while ago.

Latest part# for the bulbs is 90010-09017. They changed the bulbs so make sure you use the latest part#. They issued a TSB for a flicker issue on this panel as well.

thank you for response and pictures! I need the light for right side display (by clock) which I think is the short clear one. Does anyone know the part number for this one?

If memory serves correct it takes only the 2 bulbs I listed above.

OMG- How Easy! 5 minutes top. The woman at the Toyota parts counter gave me wrong bulb (three bucks) so I went back and exchanged it for the correct one that I took out. Good as new! I wonder what the stealer would have charged me for this? probably 30 minutes labor to take console out, 6 bucks for bulb, and another 30 minutes to put it back together. Thats why this forum is so great! Thanks
