Car and Driver also states 3,400 total which is what I have been hearing as well: 2015 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro First Drive ? Review ? Car and Driver
We have to remember these get shipped to other countries besides ours. The first large production batches of Landcruisers don't even make it to USA soil...they go to the Arab Emirates due to the high demand over there.
So other than taking it up the wazoo for It pleased so far ? Everything you had expected in the Pro ?
I think it is so rare you should put it in a garage on blocks under a cover for 25 years. It would be worth $billions...
Canada doesn't get the TRDP for either Taco, 4R or Tundra. Pity, it is.
But Inferno is the best colour, no doubt a bit of a collector's item 25 years hence.
BUT... Canada has the only 4cyl 5th gens and they come trimmed (flairs and cladding) like a Trail.
Sorry, no wheezy windbag four bangers in any of our 4Rs, but we do get the better looking trim... #canadiangirls.....
The dealer told me it's pretty limited and I was luck to get it at MSRP.Which I paid and was the only time I have ever paid MSRP. I know he was full of it. But being only one of two in a 500 mile radius that was in inferno. In the end I am happy I bought it, but I hate feeling like I got screwed.
I saw a tacoma at the local dealer here in inferno and its been there at least 3 weeks granted its STD which could be the reason they havent sold it. dont know.Nothing is as limited at the Tacoma. They made very few of them.
Tundras 3500
4Runner 3000
Tacomas 1000
Assuming (just a guess) that they made the same number of each color, that means there are 1000 of your 4runner on the road.... But even if half of them were inferno... That is VERY limited.

No doubt! I have had my eye out for a pre 74' fj40, the ones that aren't bondo-buckets are just too stoopid expensive for me. I would settle with almost any FJ75 pickup of I could find/afford one...even in inferno red![]()
Not the only one in New England MedicLt. I have an Inferno and live just north of Boston. Congrats you will love it.
