The neat thing about being a member for so long is that you can report things that happens over a long period of time.
I had to replace my Michelin Cross Terrains about two weeks ago. They lasted 55,000 miles. That seems to be about right with what I read from other write ups from other tire forums. Customers from Discount Tire forum seem to say 60,000 miles, so I guess I was pretty close.
I replaced them with Michelin LTX. They were a bit cheaper and I am hoping for a slightly longer treadwear. I just got back from a vacation and I can say the LTX's were slightly louder, especially at 80 MPH. They seem to handle fine, but I would give the edge to Cross Terrians.
