Im putting on my OME heavy suspension lift this Saturday and was wondering about how long should it take? Also, are there any issues you guys have had that I should expect? I know its going to ride stiff till the for and rear bumper come in(3-5 months). Any input would be greatly appreciated

The biggest variables for a suspension swap are the persons experience level and what condition all the hardware is in. If you've done swaps before, have the proper tools and all the hardware comes off easy, it shouldn't take more than a half day. But if this is your first time wrenching and/or you run into seized nuts and bolts. ..it could take a good deal longer.

Suspension swaps on these trucks are really easy but the above mentioned variables make it impossible to give you a number...ie 3 hours.

Just set aside the day for it, spray all the bolts with pb blaster over the next day or two and grab some beers!

Me and a buddy installed my lift in about 5 hours. I don't have OME but it's all basically the same method as far as installing goes. Neither one of us had ever put a lift on a vehicle and I'd say it was pretty easy. I just searched to find install instructions. The rear took a hour start to finish. But I also had air tools which probably helped quite a bit. PB Blaster and Kroil are your best friends. Good luck!
