How low can it go!?

7,100 miles on a 2016 TRDPRO. Only additional drag is the install of the Gobi Stealth and a Ridgid 40" bar and the Awning. Combined mileage is now down to 16.6 MPG. WTF?
I know it's not a Prius, but how low will it go? And no, gas cans are not on.

I'm having to cruise at 60 to keep mine flirting with 19. If I go 65 or more it immediately dumps down to 18 or less. My overall for the last 2 years is at 17.2. Are you resetting it every fillup?

Whoa! You've got big tires, a lift, AVS on front and sides, rack, light bar, skids, awning ....

You've not only destroyed what little aerodynamics it had, but you've added hundreds of pounds. I say you're lucky to be getting 16.6.

Installs giant steel roof rack, mounts huge light bar and awning at the highest point on the vehicle- then proceeds to whine about gas mileage.

Yeah, makes sense.

I'm averaging 17.484 with just a small lift and 275/70/17 tires. So I'd say you're doing pretty good considering.

18 here, this thread needs pics..tragic

I'm getting 13 MPG

I'm averaging 16.3 mpg over the last 1800 miles, but it's only 15.77 mpg this month with a snowstorm or two in there. Adding all the skids and sliders dropped it about 1 mpg and the tires went on so soon after buying it, I have no idea how much effect that had. Doing a road trip soon, so maybe highway mileage will be better, but I doubt by much.

Hahhahaha classic Oahu! My grandparents live up Aha Maka Way on Waialae ridge! I hated making that drive, even my 4 banger Nissan suffered.

Spenny not all of Oahu, but we up Makakilo and then down and up another hill..... on the + side, it is 3° or more cooler on average, on the - side, it is 3 or so MPG less.. lol.... I'll take the cooler weather and the need for air con only a handful of days a year.

My Tacoma DCLB (before the 4R) averaged 13.......

Eh... I was taking "fuelly" readings for a while.... now... what's the use... lol..lol..

OP.. just drive and enjoy the ride...
