How man 3G'S have functioning A/C?

I ran mine this past weekend... Not as cold as she used to be.. but ok. I had an Overheating problem last summer... Temp creeped up then went to step on the pedal loud knocking was sure to follow..

Normally my gauge stays just under the 9 clock position...

NYS Insp next month..... something else to look forward to.

Looking for a low mile OEM US pump now...

Mine's been putting out cold air for 20 years. I replaced the evaporator a couple of years ago because it had a small leak and needed a top off once or twice a year. (Easy job on a Gen 3).

238,000 miles and it works better than the AC in my work van, my jetta, and my wifes Astro van(soon to be retired:thumb3.  All those vehicles have way less miles on them. I live in a pretty hot climate and look forward to getting in that rig to drive with the AC on.

280k on the clock and mine runs fine, have to top it up every three months. leaks in the evaporator that i havent fixed yet

Two.

One with 120k. All original. One recharge about 3 years ago. It's a refrigerator.

The other with 200k. All original. No idea how many times it was recharged, but definitely once when the engine was swapped last year. The condenser has a nice gash in it and lots of crap. It's not as cold as the other but still plenty sufficient. No leaks, but I may put in a new condenser next year.

237k on mine original pump working good. I just hooked it to ac machine and gave it a vac and fresh freon, blowing super cold like it was new now.

96' 155,000 miles its cold enough to refrigerate meat....But I cant turn it off....Ever.....

2002 87K runs nice and cold and much needed in Texas - never had anything done to it yet.
