How many miles on your 4runner?

I too have a '97 with a squeaky clutch. What do you think is causing yours and what parts are you planning to replace? A whole clutch kit?

I last posted in this thread back in May '11 with 165k on the truck and now am up to 176k and in that time I did need to do the rear brakes and axle seals and got 8 years and almost 80k miles from them otherwise it's just business as usual.

I bought it for 4K a year ago and have only put a little under 6000 miles on it. I drive it daily

At this rate it will take another 15 years to hit 200K

268K '99 Silver SR5 Bought from family two years ago with 230K
New bearings, new ball joints, new brake pads, new tie rods, new belts, new plugs and wires, new timing belt kit overhaul, new power steering pump. Burns no oil, shifts good.

Plenty of life left.

280K on a '99 Limited. Just swapped the motor for a 1KZ and it was completely unnecessary. Before that I only had to replace the contacts on the starter and change the fluids. Truly bulletproof trucks.

Had 175000 when I bought it. I had to go away for a meeting and my wife was driving when it rolled over to 200,000. Still going strong. Our other car, 04 VW Passat Wagon has 173,000 on it.
