How many miles on your 4runner?

My 96 SR5 4x4 has right at 187,000 on it. It spends most of its time sitting in my shop at home now since I have a company vehicle.

Our 97 Limited 4x4 that my wife drives daily has 237,000 on it. Bought it a few months ago with a blown headasket, fixed it all up it's and running great. Just took it this past weekend on a trip up toward Nashville (little over 300 miles) and it averaged 22mpg! Will not hear me complain at all about that!

My other 97 Limited 4x4 that just sits around the house has 230,000 on it. Really need to do something with it other than just starting it about once a week and driving it around the house
 
Bought my 2000 SR5 a week ago today with 237,420 miles. Most people are like "are you insane?". My response: Nope, it's Toyota. ;)
 
Hit 220,000 on the way to work this morning. Getting ready to replace the struts this weekend. I think this is the fourth set that I have installed over the last 11 years.

I'm pulling for 250,000 before I think about retiring my Limited.
 
99 soon to be mine

In the midst of buying a 99 with 205k miles. Runs great, tight, no squeaks or rattles. Hey it's a Toyota. I plan on it being my daily driver so my Tundra doesn't rack up too many miles around town. Only problem is the check engine light is on, while researching the problem I found this forum. Thanks!
 
Toyota 4runner 97' 235,000 miles

I just joined the 4runner Forum today because I heard about it from a friend. Anyway, I wish I would have known about this Forum along time ago. Because I own a 1997 Toyota 4runner that I bought brand new back in 97, and it has over 235,000 miles on it (the original engine and transmission). I am proud 3rd generation 4runner owner with way way over 200,000 miles.
 
1997 Limited with 212,250.

I bought it back in september with 210,500 miles and a blown head gasket for the spare change in my pocket. Drove it home and replaced the radiator. Been driving it with no issues since. I bought it from a dentist who owned it since 1999 and from what I can tell, all he ever did to it was change the oil and the timing belt.

I didn't think about that. I bought some Walmart tires. I wonder if that is the problem. The thing is, it depends on the payment. Sometimes it rides okay and other time it shimmies. I am going to try new struts first, but thanks for the info on the tires.

I am going to try really hard to hit 300K. My mechanic thinks it shouldn't be a problem.
