How many miles on your 4runner?

I just bought a 97 SR5 with 175000 miles on it. :cheers: Runs great! Everything works but tailgate window and I think that's cause it was in an accident.

Just took mine to the dealership yesterday for an oil change at 190,292. The service tech was amazed at the condition and said the mechanic looked hard and found nothing wrong. Was a good day for me, didn't even care that I have to Christmas shop all day.

I'll be at about 197k by the time I get home from my current road trip. The 4Runner is one of those vehicles that Toyota just nailed from a reliability perspective. I do 5k mile oil changes on mine and never have to add in between.

1998 4x4, manual, SR5. I bought it about a year and a half ago with 219,000 for $4500. I have 229,500 on it now.

The mechanic I took it to to look it over said, "I wouldn't buy this car." The heads had been off at some point, and it makes some noise in the top end and burns oil. Clearly, I bought it anyway.

I'm going to drive it until the engine goes, then get a new engine.

236,000 on my 97 and 250,000 on the 98 I'm picking up Saturday. So I'll have 2 4runners well over 200,000. Fine by me my brothers 2001 has 190,000.

280,000 ish miles on my '97 Sr5 with the 5 speed. Runs and drives as good as any car I've driven. "Disclaimer" I'm only 16 and haven't driven any wonderfully expensive cars.

update...

-Purchased in Spring 2012, with 208K km....
-Engine failure, January 2014 at 227K km... JDM replacement engine with 65K km--- installation completed May 2014.
-Trouble free since swap, it now has 238K km! Lovin' it!!

Recently purchased two 3rd gens, a '99 & an '02. '02 has 152k and '99 had 220k on chassis, but with a rebuilt long block (prev owner blew engine while towing). Sold the '99, but it was so clean inside and out that you'd never expect to see 220k on the odo. Taking care of these things really pays off.

96' 4Runner 4WD SR5, stock.
I just did my oil change at 290k, but I'm currently at 291k.
