How many miles on your 4runner?

Sold my 2000 Limited with 203,496 miles and still running strong.

My 2000 SR5 has 204,790 currently, also running strong.

Talking with my elderly next door neighbor the other day about his 4Runner and he reported to me he bought it new in 2000 and it currently has 30k miles!!! As God as my witness, I will purchase that truck from him!

Bought my very first 4Runner 3 weeks ago for some adventuring in the spring. 1996 SR5 5 speed, 201k on the clock. I'm desperately in love and the list of things I want to do just doesn't seem to stop getting longer

Picked up my 2000 a few months ago with 155k on the clock and bought a 1999 limited 3 days ago with 235k. Both feel great and I expect to get over half a decade out of each easily.

People should be adding how much work has been done on the vehicle. Ive talked to a guy claiming 450k miles and then found out it was a second motor and he replaced the transmission twice which changed how impressed i was hahaha.


225k miles on mine, I replaced the front end($450 from junk yard), timing belt ($325)and ball joints($200).

97 in photo, over 410000 new steering rack, was biggest item rest normal maintenace original engine transmission

Newest daily driver is 2002 limited with 220k miles, considering selling, external trans cooler new radiator, CBI offroad bumpers front and rear

I have a 2000 Green SR5 with 111k on the clock. Had it roughly 12 years. I bought it from school teacher who bought it new and had the Bill of Sale and window sticker. I just picked up some Tacoma/Sequoia Split Star wheels in 17" for it. Waiting to buy some new Michelins and order the Brake upgrade kit (199) Calipers. That will be the only mods I have actually done to it since owning it. I was tempted to go with the 231 kit until I read about the ABS issues.
