How Many Miles on your 4th Gen?

Just hit 277k and replaced the serpentine auto tensioner. Yes you have to take the ac compressor and alternator off. @ 300k I will have got my monies worth.

04 with 142K Only had it for 3K and figuring out the TPMS is my only problem so far. The only regret I have is the one I got is 2WD not 4WD but when you buy used you buy what's available.

07' SR5 Shadow Mica has 96K on it and regular maintenance. Had since it was a newborn with 5 miles.

Just put a new radio in it and doing some of the lighting mods now. About to add some 12v USB ports in the rear doors for the kids. It will be passed down to my kids for them to drive. Do not think I will ever part with this machine.

I wouldn't "flush" a sealed AT. In fact, many service centers won't even do it or recommend against it. Apparently, it can cause damage. Better to drain whatever's in the pan, and replace with new. Then run it. Then do it again. As long as it's a nice clean red color....the stuff will go 1,000,000 miles in reality. If you're "refreshing" 1/4 to 1/3 of it every 50k or so.....you'll never have a problem related to the ATF.

I bought it in October with 74,000.
Certified Used. Toyota replaced the actuator as part of the certification.
It would switch into 4Hi fine but 4Lo would not engage.
Elderly couple had it before me and they babied it! They had all the maintenance done at the local Toyota dealership so I have records of everything. No problems with it (other than the actuator) only routine stuff! :lookout:

2006 SR5 V8 with 88,000. Only routine maintenance so far, still on original battery but it is getting a bit weak when really cold. Will get the timing belt and water pump changed before 95k.

I agree...Just drain...clean filter and replace. I don't like flush of any kind.
