How many things wrong here?

No "Sport Edition" emblems on the sides (only on the '02's). I also thing the rear spoiler was standard on the Sports.

The interesting thing is that it does have the sport interior trim pieces..

Its like a sad shmorgishborg of random 4runner/tacoma parts. Wonder what happened to it.

So to recap:
Claims to be a "badlands S" edition
missing 2002 sport edition badges
Tacoma wheels
different Stereo
Sport hood
running boards
non-sport seats
Rear emblems rearranged
missing fog lights
missing rear spoiler

and definitely the price.

I don't think it is missing the spoiler. If it had a spoiler, there would be holes up there, but there aren't, at least not that I see.

Also, not sure the fog light are missing. I can see the drivers side one, the pass might be obscured by shadow as they sit pretty far back.

Seriously though, what is the Badlands edition??? Its not even from South Dakota.

No fogs. You can see the caps over the openings. With all of the exterior stuff going on, I'm assuming it went through a pretty extensive accident of some sort.

Driver door switch has 2 auto up/down switches. Isn't that a limited option only?

Nope, mine has auto up on both sides and it's a sport too.

without looking at the posts previous mine

1: wth is badlands s?
2: running boards
3: rear badges
4: its not an SR5
5: headrests?
6: interior color of seats look like not OEM

I think the sport hood is right. It looks like a sport edition with the way the flares cut off. Def not an SR5 or badlands tho

I believe the badlands edition was a thing in Canada. And since this is from Washington it pretty easily could have came from Canada. That could explain no spoiler or badges in the wrong spot. Or even the radio or interior.

The 'Badlands Edition' was like a Canadian 'sport edition'. Essentially it was a base 4Runner with fender flares, hood scoop, steel rims and Badlands badging usually on right and left quarter panel and on tailgage. They didn't come with any running boards although I have checked out a couple on the very rare occasion that they come up for sale over the last couple of years and I have seen them with 'nerf-style' step bars. Looking at this one, the silver interior trim, seat fabric and hood scoop are all Badlands spec. However the rims, running boards and SR5 badge are non-Badlands. Price-wise, I have seen them on the market in Canada from 7k to 11k.

The '02 sports in the US had the aluminum skid plate on the front. I'm not sure if the Canadian Badlands editions had them, but if so, this one's missing it.

If it was Canadian wouldn't the KMs be on the outside of the speedo and the Miles on thie inside? And would the ODO say "KM" on it? Don't know, I'm just asking.

Hard to believe Toyota would sell a premium vehicle in 2002 with only a cassette deck! At least I don't see a CD slot there. My '04 Taco had the CD + Cassette double DIN deck. I actually liked it. Unfortunately my 4runner came with a POS Sony head unit when I got it.

As for the auto up/auto down on both front windows, yup, my 99 SR5 has that feature, too.

I love it but it drives my wife crazy. She can't figure out how to put the window part of the way down. Usually she tries once or twice and then I just tell her I'll do it.
