51k OTD is what before taxes and fees? about 45k right? that is what I meant by it can be had for 45k. MSRP for a OR is about 49k. Is 4k off in Canada doable?

One week ago my OTD price on my 19 TRD ORP was around 42...I’d need to look at the paperwork again to get the exact $. I don’t feel like I got a “deal” but I don’t blame anyone but myself for that. I have a son with multiple disabilities...and unfortunately I wasn’t able to get someone to help me with him during the last stages of the process.
Should have postponed it...but circumstances didn’t allow it. In the long term I could have saved a couple grand MAYBE but short term the well being of my son had to be prioritized. Truth is you get used to that, and the end result is that I’m extremely happy with the vehicle. He loves it too, which makes it that much awesomer. :clap2:

After reading more on here I backed out of the first 4Runner I came across in search of a better deal. A local dealer had one of the new Voodoo 19' Pros in so I thought I would go look at it. When I got there they also had a 19' ORP XP edition. Below is the window sticker from each.
It may of been my mind playing tricks but the ORP with KDSS seemed to drive smoother than the Pro. Both had the cargo sliding deck and since the ORP had the XP package it came with the same grill, tires, step bars, window tint, sunroof as the Pro. The only differences was the Pro of course had the black valances vs silver and the roof rack.
Price for Pro was $49, 674
Price for ORP was $49, 111
The Pro had zero wiggle room and the ORP premium I was able to get down to $43,800 OTD which I couldn't walk away from. Still don't know if I got the best deal but I'm certainly satisfied!

2019 TRD Pro
I picked up a 2019 TRD Pro for 48k out the door, had to drive a few hours. Probably not the best deal, but they gave me 3k more on my trade than any other dealer and the dealers in my area had the pros marked up over 50k. Need to remove the pinstripe though. First Toyota, coming from a JK Rubi and so far I’m happy I made the switch.

We’re looking at msrp only.

$1,800 for freight & pdi
$400 destination fee
$820 Accessories (undercoat, Block heater)
$125 AC recovery & tire levy
This does not include dealer document fee or any upfront insurance as well as any potential accessories they often install (window deflectors, aftermarket rims etc). I went through the papaerwork on one and they spring the $6,000 for tires and rims. In what world are tires and rims that expensive??
I can afford the vehicle but I don’t want to feel like a sucker and dive right into the first one I find. They keep telling me to jump on the one they have as they sell out and are hard to come by, yet every Toyota dealer has a few. I can find used for $41,000-$44,000 all in (15,000-24,000km avg).
Not to mention the current interest rates are high for the 4Runners up here, don’t think I’ve seen a 0% or any really good incentives. (They have a $500 accessory bonus on atm)
