How much are people paying for the NEW 4Runner?

I'm currently looking at 37K OTD on a 2015 Magnetic Grey SR5, 4x4, 3rd Row Seat. Lifetime powertrain warranty good at any Toyota dealership in the country....

And it was ball busting hell to get that price. I had one dealership tell me (after in an email I thought we had come to an agreement on a price) when I went in person to put down the deposit he wouldn't give it to me for that price, here's the sticker price, "if you won't pay it, we'll sell it to someone else who will" I walked right out. I was pissed.

....Florida....

I would have done the same thing... That's some B.S. I drove a little over 100 miles to get mine. Local guys wouldn't budge on price at best they could only match the price of the guys 100 miles away and then they still couldn't deliver. I figured f it, if these guys won't play ball I'll drive for it. I had a OTD price quote in writing before arrive and they honored it. I told them I was in a hurry before I got there and preemptively told them what I expected upon arrival. it all went pretty smoothly.

Yeah I was peeved. Ended up at a dealership that offers lifetime powertrain warranty that matches Toyota's...I drive em until the wheels fall off so I'll get that money out of it! Haha. 37k OTD includes taxes tags etc. SO the truck itself is in the neighborhood of 34.5 or so. I'm happy enough with that.

Heres a little trick ive learned. If youre paying cash or outside financing, get your car financed through Toyota for the first few weeks. Then pay it off. The dealer is a lot more likely to play ball on your terms.

Its why they always ask how youre paying for it before negotiations. Dealers get incentives from Toyota for the financing. Your credit will take a small hit temporarily but i think its worth it.

I did the opposite. Had outside financing. Got lower rate from toyota

As I understand it, Toyota seems to charge an upfront fee per every $1000 borrowed. So while their interest rates look good, when you factor in the upfront fee as if it was amortized the interest rate rises to be market average or more.

If you take their financing then quickly pay it off, the non-recoverable up-front fees may exceed the savings on the car's price.

'15 4Runner Trail Premium

Pulled the trigger on a new 4Runner last night. White trail premium without KDSS. Sticker was $40.8k and I payed $37k+TTL.

I don't think that is the case. If it is, the fee is buried in the price of the vehicle because it doesn't show up anywhere. They are just simple interest loans with no prepay penalty. If there is an upfront fee, you'd have to see it somewhere in the deal and it would either eat into your down payment or trade difference, etc. I could be wrong though, but I don't see it.

+1 mine is through toyota and simple interest

Just picked up a silver 2015 TE, no KDSS.

Entune Premium Audio With Navigation And $405
Ball Mount $60
Premium Carpet Mat Set $225

They added their own Vehicle Protection Package $299 :ohwell:

$34,554 + tax, title, etc

Pruchase Date 03 March 2014
2014 Trail Edition Premium w/KDSS
Remote Start, Roof Rack Crossbars, Paint Protection Film
$39,722 (dealer fees included. TTT not included)

2015 Trail
Super White
KDSS
Entune, BT, Nav
Crossbars
Carpeted Floor Mats

Purchased a couple weeks ago. $35k + TTL.

I didn't actually want the KDSS at first but it's all they had on the lot on the three Trails they had. Turns out they mispriced my particular vehicle on their website, and they honored it, so I got a decent deal on it. I'm glad I got the KDSS, in the end.

I am looking at a 2015 Limited 4x2 - BP exterior, Remote Start, Chrome Exhaust, Crossbars

Curious how much others paid for their vehicles (actual vehicle price, not the final purchase price). Lowest price quoted currently is 41K OTD.

Also, any ideas if the 2016's will have any modifications?

In Texas I paid ~$37,500 out the door for a 2015 trail with nav/entune. Sticker was about $37,500 but got it down to like $34,700. Pretty happy with the price I paid.

2015 TEP super white
KDSS
exhaust tip
roof Xbars
carpet floormats
$39,464 OTD

I didn't really want or need the KDSS either but the dealer said he was looking at several white ones that all had it. Oh well, I'll have one with and one without.

I purchased a 2015 Limited BP w/ Redwood interior.
Options: Crossbars, Remote start, Chrome exhaust, Floor mats
4x2

OTD price of $40,536.15 with my trade which provided about $670 in equity.
Vehicle price before all other figures added in was $39,900.
