I'm currently looking at 37K OTD on a 2015 Magnetic Grey SR5, 4x4, 3rd Row Seat. Lifetime powertrain warranty good at any Toyota dealership in the country....
And it was ball busting hell to get that price. I had one dealership tell me (after in an email I thought we had come to an agreement on a price) when I went in person to put down the deposit he wouldn't give it to me for that price, here's the sticker price, "if you won't pay it, we'll sell it to someone else who will" I walked right out. I was pissed.
....Florida....
I would have done the same thing... That's some B.S. I drove a little over 100 miles to get mine. Local guys wouldn't budge on price at best they could only match the price of the guys 100 miles away and then they still couldn't deliver. I figured f it, if these guys won't play ball I'll drive for it. I had a OTD price quote in writing before arrive and they honored it. I told them I was in a hurry before I got there and preemptively told them what I expected upon arrival. it all went pretty smoothly.
Heres a little trick ive learned. If youre paying cash or outside financing, get your car financed through Toyota for the first few weeks. Then pay it off. The dealer is a lot more likely to play ball on your terms.
Its why they always ask how youre paying for it before negotiations. Dealers get incentives from Toyota for the financing. Your credit will take a small hit temporarily but i think its worth it.

As I understand it, Toyota seems to charge an upfront fee per every $1000 borrowed. So while their interest rates look good, when you factor in the upfront fee as if it was amortized the interest rate rises to be market average or more.
If you take their financing then quickly pay it off, the non-recoverable up-front fees may exceed the savings on the car's price.
I don't think that is the case. If it is, the fee is buried in the price of the vehicle because it doesn't show up anywhere. They are just simple interest loans with no prepay penalty. If there is an upfront fee, you'd have to see it somewhere in the deal and it would either eat into your down payment or trade difference, etc. I could be wrong though, but I don't see it.
Pulled the trigger on a new 4Runner last night. White trail premium without KDSS. Sticker was $40.8k and I payed $37k+TTL.
