hey guys -- been lurking for a while. having a hard time getting a good deal in Colorado. best offers I have so far:

white 2019 SR5 (bare bones, no options):
- MSRP: $38,389
- Total before TTL: $33,421 (13% off MSRP)
- OTD: $36,281

mag grey 2017 SR5 (some options - rear/cargo mat, crossbars, mats I think)
- 18k miles
- MSRP: $37,525
- Total before TTL: $33k even (12% off MSRP)
- OTD: $35,773

I feel like I'm reading about people driving OTD for $33k on bare bones SR5s, and my best offer is $3k+ more than this. are my expectations too high?

in a perfect world, I am walking out with a white/mag grey SR5 w/ moonroof for $34k OTD. is this crazy? my tax rate is 8.5%. i appreciate any advice.

what dealer/(s) are you working with?

My local dealer has base SR5 for $35683 MSRP.

I'm also not sure you can get a SR5 with the moonroof unless its premium. Are you looking at 2WD or 4WD?

looking at 4WD. and I feared that'd be the case on the moonroof -- I can live without.

Mountainstates Toyota wants $33,421 before taxes. Pedersen Toyota wants $33,600 before taxes. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.. thanks for the help.

Just bought a '19 SR5 Premium with sunroof for $37,611 otd last month through a broker and picked up locally. magnetic grey with just the winter mats and cargo liner with sunroof. It will tow, I will smile. End of story.

$32,700 sounds like a good price to me, but admittedly I’m no expert. The reason I went with MST is because they gave me $1000 more for my trade than I could get from the other 2 dealers I tried. (‘09 Tacoma DCSB TRDOR with 152k miles)

The trade in just complicated the whole buying process, but I didn’t want to deal with selling it outright.

Broaden your search. I bought my TRD off road 2019 for 35k out the door (including all taxes and fees and reg). Fly out to whatever state you get a good deal and drive it back. Is the 400 in flight and gas worth saving a few grand?

I tried all the dealers in Kansas City and none were willing to even get close to $34k on an SR5 Premium. And to be honest I’m already pushing my budget so I gotta stick with the SR5

I got a dealer closer to me down to $32,700 on an SR5 but now I’m trying to get TRD pro wheels thrown in. Is there any chance I can get a dealer to throw them in for $400?

Wow that’s nuts...where r u located? I’m in the market for 1 but it’s seems there are more blues than any other color...not sure if it is not as popular color as previous pro models...most I’ve seen are 3200 off msrp.
