How much are people paying for the NEW 4Runner?

hey guys -- been lurking for a while. having a hard time getting a good deal in Colorado. best offers I have so far:

white 2019 SR5 (bare bones, no options):
- MSRP: $38,389
- Total before TTL: $33,421 (13% off MSRP)
- OTD: $36,281

mag grey 2017 SR5 (some options - rear/cargo mat, crossbars, mats I think)
- 18k miles
- MSRP: $37,525
- Total before TTL: $33k even (12% off MSRP)
- OTD: $35,773

I feel like I'm reading about people driving OTD for $33k on bare bones SR5s, and my best offer is $3k+ more than this. are my expectations too high?

in a perfect world, I am walking out with a white/mag grey SR5 w/ moonroof for $34k OTD. is this crazy? my tax rate is 8.5%. i appreciate any advice.

what dealer/(s) are you working with?

My local dealer has base SR5 for $35683 MSRP.

I'm also not sure you can get a SR5 with the moonroof unless its premium. Are you looking at 2WD or 4WD?

looking at 4WD. and I feared that'd be the case on the moonroof -- I can live without.

Mountainstates Toyota wants $33,421 before taxes. Pedersen Toyota wants $33,600 before taxes. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.. thanks for the help.

have you tried Stapp? They have a white JTEBU5JR1K5723574 $36,653 MSRP, might have some dings from hail though

Just bought a '19 SR5 Premium with sunroof for $37,611 otd last month through a broker and picked up locally. magnetic grey with just the winter mats and cargo liner with sunroof. It will tow, I will smile. End of story.

May I be so bold as to ask what the broker charged you for his/her services?

I paid MST’s $33,421 and was happy with that number. I had been watching local incentives and prices since last fall and that was the best I’d seen in that time. Demand for the T4R is high in Colorado. Along with the Subaru Outback, it’s the official state car. ;)

To get to $33k OTD, you’d have to have a purchase price of $30,415, which is almost 21% off of MSRP. I didn’t read all ~400 pages of this thread, but that doesn’t seem like a realistic number to me. After reading through a number of the posts, I’m not sure everyone knows what OTD truly means.

Good luck!

hah! good for you, MST had no desire to play ball with me whatsoever.

my best offer right now for a base SR5 before taxes but inclusive of any bullshit fees is $32,700 from Pedersen Toyota up in Ft. Collins. Roughly 15% off MSRP, which seems to be considered "good" by most folks here (I've read 40+ pages of this thread by now...)

Assuming no other Colorado dealer will beat this, should I take this? also, is it at all possible to find an SR5 premium with moonroof for <$33k (before taxes) anywhere in the central US/rocky mtn west region?

others feel free to chime in, and appreciate it

$32,700 sounds like a good price to me, but admittedly I’m no expert. The reason I went with MST is because they gave me $1000 more for my trade than I could get from the other 2 dealers I tried. (‘09 Tacoma DCSB TRDOR with 152k miles)

The trade in just complicated the whole buying process, but I didn’t want to deal with selling it outright.

Do you have costco membership? They will send you to Autonation Toyota Arapahoe, but I got my ORP $42100 msrp. OTD for $37k. Roughly 5900 off msrp and had tax saving bc of trade in of around 1500. Therefore my sweet out the door price. I think that's right around 15 to 16% off msrp before you factor in taxes.

unfortunately I don't. I'm headed to one final dealer tonight/tomorrow to see if they can beat $32.7k before taxes on an SR-5. if they do, i'm done looking!

Broaden your search. I bought my TRD off road 2019 for 35k out the door (including all taxes and fees and reg). Fly out to whatever state you get a good deal and drive it back. Is the 400 in flight and gas worth saving a few grand?

I tried all the dealers in Kansas City and none were willing to even get close to $34k on an SR5 Premium. And to be honest I’m already pushing my budget so I gotta stick with the SR5

I got a dealer closer to me down to $32,700 on an SR5 but now I’m trying to get TRD pro wheels thrown in. Is there any chance I can get a dealer to throw them in for $400?

Paid 54k for my 2019 voodoo blue trdp

Wow that’s nuts...where r u located? I’m in the market for 1 but it’s seems there are more blues than any other color...not sure if it is not as popular color as previous pro models...most I’ve seen are 3200 off msrp.
