How much are people paying for the NEW 4Runner?

I just got a '16 Trail Premium for $39,300 before TTL. I think the only options are KDSS, sliding rear cargo deck, LED DRLs (not sure if that is on all of them), and ToyoGuard something or other that is probably on all of them. MSRP was $43,291 and my OTD price was about $42,900.

But then every GS dealer says "oh Toyota doesn't do orders." :yell:
I think I'll have to come to you next time. Most dealers only want to sell something on the lot, and are very unwilling to deal on anything that's not already on the truck and headed to their lot.

Seriously though... I reached out to 8 or so SE dealerships and very few wanted to order. They wanted to dealer locate which means you get the crap they stick on lot vehicles to increase their PM. NO THANKS on that!
I am being as specific as I can. I will take no less than the options I want. Anything they want to add to that will be zero cost to me so they can feel free to add whatever I'm just not paying for it.

I'm curious too. I've been trying for about two months to get what I want.
This is the best I've been able to get from a dealer, and they won't go below $1,200 over the total listed here:

Crap, the best I can get in AL, TN, MS and GA for a TEP with KDSS and Rear cargo is $40,586 + TTL and I get laughed at for asking if I ask for more. Seven other dealerships laughed when I told them about the $40,586 as if that was not possible. I know it is but I have no clue what many of you are doing or where you are going to get a dealership to budge on a TEP.

How much negotiation did it take to get to that price? And do you mind telling which dealer? I looked in TN as I am in AL but no go but I only looked in the Nashville area.
That total is pretty much what I paid but I didn't get all weather mats or the cross bars. :crybaby:
Ah, well.
That is with no KDSS. It took me about 2 months to get to this price. I have helped and bought allot of cars but this one was the hardest deal to put together.

So my sales person came back today with this.
"We called the port workshop, and we can't get a Trail Premium with a Sliding Rear Cargo Deck even if we custom order one. They won't do one on either of the Trail models or the TRD Pro. I just want you to know before we price one out. I will go ahead with pricing without the cargo deck and send it shortly."
This can't be right.. The port does not install the rear cargo tray do they?

I believe some of the options are indeed installed at the port after being shipped from Japan. I'm not sure which ones exactly, but I'd guess that the sliding cargo tray is probably one of them.
That said, you should be able to order anything you want, if you have a good dealer (or maybe I'm wrong).

Going to look at 2014 tep NON kdss with 37k Toyota certified for $31.000 what do you guys think. ?
